Marine Energy Week will be hosting a wide selection of technical posters on marine energy as part of Bimep day, to be held on 28 March, 2017. The posters will be on display on every day of the conference and they may not be withdrawn until the closing of the event.
The official languages of the Marine Energy Week Congress are Basque Language, Spanish and English. The poster can be produced in any of these three languages.
The authors must present their works during the poster session of the BiMEP Day that will take place the 28th March 2017. The posters will be exhibited during all the days of the Congress and they cannot be removed till the closure of the event.
The final acceptation requires that at least one of the authors will be registered at least in one of the conferences of the III Marine Energy Week Congress. This registration must be made no later than the 3rd March 2017. The authors can benefit of a discount if the registration is made previously to the 16th February 2017.

Printed posters should be in 1000 mm x 700 mm format.
If you wish, you can have your poster printed out by the conference organisers: if you would like to avail of this service, you must send in the file with your poster at least one month before Bimep day this is no later than 27th February 2017. Poster files must have high quality pdf files.

Deadline to send to poster to be printed out by the conference organisers: Not later than 27th February 2017.
Poster printed out by the author: It should be positioned in the Bilbao Exhibition Centre on 27 March, 2017.
This year, as a new feature, authors can also submit a video explaining their posters.
The organisers will place QR codes beside the posters, with links to the videos, which conference delegates can use to scan and display on their mobile devices. The videos will also be posted on the official event website.
Videos must include the title and author.
The maximum length is 3 minutes
Official languages of the Marine Energy Week conference which can be used in the videos: Basque, Spanish and English.
Videos may be recorded on any device.
The organization will not edit audio-visual material sent by the author except to include a credit frame identifying the conference and to cut down any excess length. The first 3 minutes of the material received will be used.
By submitting their video, the authors expressly authorise the use of this audio-visual material on the Marine Energy Week conference's online dissemination media (website and social media) and give consent to its public screening at the event.
Marine Energy Week shall not be held liable for the contents of the audio-visuals submitted by the authors, nor for their veracity and authorship.

All posters with an explanatory video will be in the running for the Euskampus prize for Best Bimep Day Poster. The €500 award will be presented on 30 March at the “Ocean Energy conference”.
As well as the inclusion of an audio-visual presentation, the criteria for selecting the best poster will be as follows:

Partnership between different organisations or multi-discipline collaboration.
Scientific and technological excellence
Quality of the speaker's communication
Sumary of deadlines
